In the late summer of 2021, a young man's life was tragically cut short on a street in New Orleans. Charles Dupre, a 24-year-old Black male, was in the 2800 block of Magnolia Street on August 7th when he was shot multiple times. Despite the immediate response of medical personnel, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
