Jermaine Mitchell, a 44-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 24, 2018, in New Orleans, Louisiana. On that fateful day, at approximately 8:00 a.m., the New Orleans Police Department responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 3000 block of Touro Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Jermaine Mitchell lying face down on the sidewalk portion of a driveway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
