On a Friday afternoon in New Orleans, 64-year-old Reginald William Thompson, known to his loved ones as 'Puff,' was in his beloved 7th Ward neighborhood. He had an appointment with his attorney on March 22, 2024, and afterward, stopped at the corner of North Roman Street and AP Tureaud Avenue to chat with some friends. What began as a casual conversation quickly turned into a scene of violence when gunfire suddenly erupted.
