Coley Patterson Sr., 79, was last seen on October 16, 2006, in Kershaw, South Carolina. Patterson, who was in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease, had been at his sister's home on Fork Hill Road before disappearing. Around 4:00 p.m., he was spotted walking near the intersection of Fork Hill and Pleasant Plains Road. His sister had briefly left him outside while she went indoors, but when she returned a few minutes later, Coley was gone.
