In the fall of 2018, the life of 31-year-old Megan McLaughlin, a Caucasian female, was tragically cut short in a violent encounter at a Missoula, Montana motel. On October 19, 2018, what began as a dispute over drugs escalated into a brutal attack that left McLaughlin and another individual, Jason Flink, dead and a third person, Kaleb Williams, seriously injured.
