Janet Lee Lucas, a 23-year-old woman from Spokane, Washington, was tragically killed in what is now considered a homicide. Her skeletal remains were discovered by a bear hunter near Crystal Creek in Missoula County, Montana, on September 9, 1985. For 36 years, she remained unidentified, known only as "Christy Crystal Creek."
