JaMichael Frith, a 14-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on February 28, 2019, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His death was the result of a gunshot wound to the head, which occurred just after midnight outside his home on the 8400 block of Oleander Street. JaMichael's mother, Jane Washington, discovered her son's lifeless body on the front steps of their home after hearing gunshots. She had fallen asleep while waiting for him to return from watching parades.
