Savarea Stickman, a 24-year-old male from Shreveport, LA, was fatally shot on June 2, 2018, in the Cedar Grove neighborhood. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. in the 7200 block of Bernstein Avenue. Stickman was found with at least two gunshot wounds to the upper body and was pronounced dead at University Health hospital just after 6 a.m. The shooting was the result of a drug deal gone wrong.
