In the late hours of a Tuesday in August 2018, the life of 17-year-old Tajana Williams was tragically cut short in the Desire neighborhood of New Orleans. Responding to the sound of a gunshot, police officers discovered the young woman lying on the ground at the corner of Ursula and Abundance streets with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
