Kaiema Kennedy, a 26-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on August 26, 2014, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kaiema was a graduate of J.F. Kennedy High School and a student at Delgado Community College. She was also employed at Winn Dixie. On the day of her death, Kaiema was shot and killed in front of her home in the 7th Ward.
