In the late summer of 2014, the life of a young New Orleans woman was tragically cut short, leaving a community to grapple with the sudden and violent loss. Kaiema Shawna Kennedy, a 26-year-old female, was a student at Delgado Community College and an employee at a local Winn Dixie.
