Roshelle Lemon, a 35-year-old African American woman from New Orleans, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on August 16, 2021. She was seven months pregnant at the time of her death. Roshelle was shot in her vehicle around 1:15 p.m. near the intersections of Higgins Boulevard and Louisa Street in the Desire Area of New Orleans. She was transported to a hospital, where she and her unborn child were pronounced dead.
