Darnisha DeSilva, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on October 9, 2018, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a loving mother to Gregory Peter IV, Thomas Lyndell Heisser, and Da'vi G'ana DeSilva. Darnisha was also the beloved daughter of Lisa DeSilva and Donald Payne Sr., and the fiancée of the late Gregory Peter Heisser III.
