Londyn Unique Samuels, a 1-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on August 29, 2013, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Londyn was being carried by her 18-year-old babysitter when they were both shot in the Central City neighborhood. The bullet that struck Londyn entered her babysitter's back before hitting her in the chest, causing her death.
