Lakisha Johnson, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on February 13, 2014, in New Orleans, LA. Her death was the result of a murder-suicide perpetrated by her fiancé, who was also the father of her two youngest children. The incident occurred in a home located in the 2800 block of Fortin Street, where New Orleans police discovered her body. The Orleans Parish Coroner's office identified Lakisha Johnson as the victim.
