In the spring of 2010, a horrific act of violence claimed the life of 25-year-old Angel Davis in New Orleans, Louisiana. On the evening of March 25th, the young mother, her two children, and her teenage sister were found shot to death inside their home, a crime that deeply shocked the community. The other victims were identified as Angel's 7-year-old daughter, Jamaria 'J-Lo' Ross, her 4-year-old son, Joseph 'Poppy' Davis, and her 17-year-old sister, Malekia Davis.
