Amanda Halaby, a 25-year-old woman from New Orleans, LA, tragically lost her life on June 22, 2020. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of Walnut Creek. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Amanda Halaby and another individual who had been shot. Amanda Halaby was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
