In the quiet neighborhood of Bywater in New Orleans, a tragedy unfolded that left a family shattered. Terry Fedoroff, a 60-year-old woman, was found deceased on October 7, 2014, in a home on Pauline Street. Her death was the result of a violent altercation that also claimed the lives of her two brothers, 58-year-old Billy Conrad and 55-year-old Christopher Conrad.
The grim discovery was made by Terry's husband, John Fedoroff.
When he was unable to reach his wife, he went to the residence. After receiving no response at the door, he forced his way inside, where he was met with a horrific scene. His wife and her two brothers were lying on the floor in a room, all having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
The New Orleans Police Department's preliminary investigation pointed towards a shocking murder-suicide. It is believed that the youngest sibling, Christopher Conrad, shot and killed his sister, Terry, and his brother, Billy, before turning the gun on himself. The motive for this tragic act remains unclear.
The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office later confirmed the identities of the three siblings. The incident was officially classified as a murder-suicide, with Christopher Conrad identified as the perpetrator. As the sole suspect in the deaths of Terry Fedoroff and Billy Conrad was also deceased, the investigation was concluded.
