Paige Torregano, a 19-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on September 20, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Paige was at a tire shop on Chef Menteur Highway in the Plum Orchard neighborhood when several men opened fire on the vehicle she was in. She was getting a tire fixed with a friend when the shooting occurred. Paige died at the scene, while her friend, who was also shot in the head, survived.
