Melissa Hunter, a 23-year-old woman, was found dead in her bedroom in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana, on June 3, 2015. The New Orleans Police Department responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, reporting that a woman had been shot.
