In the spring of 2015, a 26-year-old female named Diamonique Lewis had recently relocated from Dallas to New Orleans, seeking a new beginning with her two young children. On the evening of Thursday, April 23rd, she and her 25-year-old boyfriend, Louis Brooks, were at her apartment on Granville Street.
