Julie Catherine Couvillon, a 36-year-old female nurse, was enjoying a rare night out on Bourbon Street in New Orleans after attending Carnival parades. In the early morning hours of Sunday, February 24, 2019, her life was tragically cut short when she was struck by a stray bullet. Couvillon, a mother from Metairie, was walking near Willie's Chicken Shack when the fatal incident occurred.
