In the late hours of a December evening in New Orleans, a young life was tragically cut short. Raven Houff, an 18-year-old African American female, was killed on December 8, 2019. The incident, a double shooting, unfolded around 11:17 p.m. in the 7th Ward, specifically in the 2100 block of North Rocheblave Street. Earlier that day, Raven had been with her cousins at Jackson Park before they became separated.
