Demarcus ReShawn Mack, a 25-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on February 29, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was shot during a violent incident that occurred around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of North Cringler Street and Rozzelles Ferry Road. Another individual was also shot but survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
Unfortunately, Demarcus succumbed to his injuries the following day, March 1, 2020.

On March 3, 2020, CMPD announced the arrest of two suspects, 27-year-old Antonio Tawan Rollins and 25-year-old Raquan McCray, in connection with Demarcus Mack's murder. Both suspects were charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of discharging a weapon into a moving vehicle, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
