Shereen Theon Smith, a 44-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on April 18, 2019, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was shot in the head outside her home on Westlake Drive in New Orleans East. The incident occurred around 8:41 p.m., and she was pronounced dead at the hospital less than an hour later.
