Death by Force

Chemeka Downs, a 38-year-old woman from New Orleans, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on June 15, 2021. She was found shot in the 3600 block of North Miro Street in the Ninth Ward. The New Orleans Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at the location and discovered Downs suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
