In the small community of Port Barre, Louisiana, the life of 23-year-old Skylar Kimble was cut tragically short on May 21, 2019. Known for a smile that could illuminate the darkest room, Skylar was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend who was described by her family as a 'go getter' who lived each day to its fullest. Her life, however, ended in a shocking act of violence that also claimed the life of her boyfriend, Christopher Lane Boudreaux, who was also 23.
