On September 21, 1992, the body of 29-year-old Regetter Martin, a female, was discovered near an interstate in Botte, Louisiana. A mother of three, Martin had a history of arrests for prostitution. Her death was one in a series of brutal killings of women in the New Orleans area between 1991 and 1996, crimes attributed to a serial killer who would come to be known as the 'Storyville Slayer.'
