In the fall of 2014, the life of 31-year-old Natalie Simsick was tragically cut short in New Orleans. On the morning of October 21st, her body was discovered in a vacant lot located in the 800 block of North Roman Street. An investigation revealed that Simsick, a White/Caucasian female, had been shot multiple times, with at least one report indicating a gunshot wound to the head. Her death was classified as a homicide.
