Damon Kyntrell Wallis, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 30, 2019, in Houma, Louisiana. The incident occurred outside the Landing apartments at 1803 Martin Luther King Blvd. in Houma. Wallis was fatally shot during a drug-related robbery that took place shortly after 11:30 a.m. on that fateful day. Authorities recovered multiple bullet casings and found a truck with bullet holes and blood stains in the parking lot. Marijuana was also recovered at the scene.
