McGarrete Jackson, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 19, 2020, in Houma, Louisiana. Jackson, a native of Terrebonne and resident of Johnson Ridge, was pronounced dead after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred at a Sonic Drive-In located at 5963 W.
