Ernest Sims, a 38-year-old African American man from Houma, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on November 11, 2015. He was shot multiple times by two masked assailants who chased him out of his yard and into a neighbor's yard, where he eventually collapsed. The incident occurred on Mozart Drive in the Ashland North subdivision.
