In the late summer of 2015, the community of Houma, Louisiana, was rocked by a tragic event that cut short the lives of two of its residents. Casey John Duplantis, a 35-year-old male, died on Sunday, August 30, 2015, in a violent culmination of what appears to have been a domestic dispute. His death was the final act in a murder-suicide where he was the perpetrator.
