On a tragic day in August of 1977, a violent outburst fueled by jealousy claimed the life of 33-year-old Bobby Todd in his mobile home near Houma, Louisiana. The events leading to the fatal encounter began when David Dene Martin discovered his wife was having an affair with Todd, who owned the restaurant lounge where she worked. Despite his pleas for her to quit her job, she refused. This rejection sent Martin into a rage, leading him to steal a. 357 magnum pistol and plot his revenge.
