Bobby Todd, a 33-year-old white male, was tragically killed on August 14, 1977, in Houma, Louisiana. Todd was the owner of the Black Gold Restaurant and Lounge, a country-western club. His death was part of a violent spree carried out by David Dene Martin, a former church youth counselor. Martin, who was 32 years old at the time, murdered Todd along with three other individuals at Todd's mobile home in Bayou Blue.
