Death by Force

Chedrick Golphin, a 44-year-old African American man, was found shot to death on January 13, 2020, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At the time of his death, Golphin was employed with the New Roads Police Department and also worked as a bounty hunter. He was discovered in the back of an abandoned vehicle on Lanier Drive. The Baton Rouge Police Department launched an investigation into his death, which was quickly classified as a homicide.
