In the fading daylight of a Monday evening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, tragedy struck a young life. Jeremiah Lowery, a 17-year-old Black male, was riding as a passenger in a vehicle traveling eastbound in the 3400 block of Dalton Street on March 15, 2021. The normalcy of the evening was shattered when an unknown assailant opened fire on the vehicle, fatally wounding the teenager.
