Malik Cox, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 27, 2021, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 3:37 p.m. on North 38th Street after a verbal altercation escalated into violence. Malik Cox was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
