On a spring afternoon in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a verbal dispute escalated into deadly violence, claiming the life of Malik Cox, a 28-year-old male. The fatal encounter occurred on Saturday, March 27, 2021, around 3:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of N. 38th Street, near Gus Young Avenue.
