Courtney Lee, a 25-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 13, 2020, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her body was discovered by firefighters who were responding to a brush fire. The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner, William "Beau" Clark, reported that Lee had been shot multiple times. The circumstances surrounding her death were initially unclear, but it was evident that she had been the victim of a violent crime.
