Dereial Manning, a 20-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on July 16, 2020, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 am when New Orleans police responded to a call in the 12100 block of I-10 Service Road. Dereial Manning had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. She is survived by her mother, Nyress Manning, her 2-year-old son, Corey Williams Jr., and several siblings.
