On April 14, 2024, Jezreel Aquilla Poleate, a 24-year-old resident of Harvey, Louisiana, tragically lost her life to gun violence in New Orleans. The incident occurred outside a nightclub called Republic NOLA, where Jezreel was waiting to enter when a mass shooting took place.
