A 19-year-old Black man named Colby Ross was fatally shot on August 4, 2020, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident, which also resulted in the death of 30-year-old Deondre Pennywell, occurred on Morningside Drive.

Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered both Ross and Pennywell with gunshot wounds. Both men succumbed to their injuries.
