Known by his stage name, Blue Benji Kobe, Ware was a rising rapper in the local music scene. On that fateful day, he was shot multiple times around 2 p.m. in the 7000 block of Pines Road. Despite being rushed to Ochsner Health hospital, Ware succumbed to his injuries at 2:52 p.m. The incident occurred in broad daylight, highlighting the brazen nature of the attack.
