In a tragic and violent encounter on February 18, 2022, Jermond Lamar Houston, a 25-year-old male, lost his life in Shreveport, Louisiana. The fatal incident unfolded inside a Shell gas station on West 70th Street. Houston was at the counter making a purchase when he was approached by Noel Deon Garner.

Surveillance footage from the store captured the harrowing moments that followed. Garner, a 30-year-old man from Dallas, Texas, reached into Houston's right pocket and removed a 9mm handgun ...
