Death by Force

Darnell D. Smith, a 33-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in Shreveport, Louisiana, on July 28, 2021. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the Queensborough neighborhood. Shreveport Police officers found Smith unresponsive outside a residence in the 3300 block of West Caperton Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. This homicide marked the 54th of the year 2021 in Shreveport.
