Death by Force

Deon Ellis, a 45-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on March 18, 2016, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Legardy Street, where Ellis was shot once in the upper body by an unknown assailant. He was transported to University Health, where he was later pronounced dead by medical staff. The Caddo Parish Coroner's office confirmed that a single bullet pierced his back, leading to his death.
