On a late summer afternoon in Shreveport, Louisiana, a young man's life was cut tragically short. Twenty-one-year-old Kendrick Dotie was at the Northside Villas apartment complex off of North Market Street on September 5, 2022, when an argument escalated to violence. In the wake of the dispute, Dotie was shot. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but the severity of his wounds proved to be fatal, and he died within half an hour of the incident.
