In the pre-dawn hours of November 4, 2024, the life of 15-year-old Anthony Vinson Jr., a male from Shreveport, Louisiana, was tragically cut short by gun violence. The incident unfolded just before 2 a.m. near the Hollywood Mini Mart at the intersection of Jewella Avenue and Peyton Street. Vinson was on his bicycle when a champagne-colored, early 2000s model Yukon approached. A passenger in the vehicle opened fire, striking the teenager.
