Brandon Richardson, a 32-year-old African American male from Shreveport, Louisiana, died on August 22, 2022. His death was ruled a suicide, occurring just hours before he was set to stand trial for attempted murder. Richardson was found dead on the Shreveport riverfront, having shot himself early that morning.
