In the early morning hours of December 29, 2025, a tragic shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana, claimed the life of 24-year-old Timothy Hall of Sibley. Hall was driving in the Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood when gunfire erupted, fatally wounding him. The incident occurred on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, near Joe Louis Boulevard.
Emergency services responded to the scene and transported Hall to Ochsner LSU Health hospital.
Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at 2:11 a.m. A female passenger in the vehicle with Hall was also injured during the shooting and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Caddo Parish Coroner's office officially identified Timothy Hall. His death has been recorded as the 39th homicide in Shreveport for the year 2025. Authorities have confirmed that an autopsy has been ordered as part of the ongoing investigation.
As of now, law enforcement officials have not released any information regarding potential suspects or any arrests made in connection with the shooting. The Shreveport Police Department's investigation into the circumstances surrounding Timothy Hall's death is active and continuing.
