On December 22, 2016, 35-year-old DeMarco Hill was tragically killed in Shreveport, Louisiana. Hill was shot twice in the head while sitting in his car in the parking lot of the NLB Grocery market at West 70th and Union Street. Police discovered his body when they responded to a call for gunfire around 11 PM on December 23, 2016. Hill was pronounced dead at the scene, marking the city's 44th homicide of the year.
