In the afternoon hours of Thanksgiving Day, a violent encounter in Shreveport, Louisiana, left two men dead, including 29-year-old Deandre Daniels. The fatal incident unfolded around 12:10 p.m. on November 28, 2024, at a location on Pines Road. When Shreveport Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered two individuals who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators have determined that Daniels and the second man, identified as Jamarion Bryant, were familiar with one
another. It appears that Daniels approached Bryant, who was seated inside a vehicle. At that point, an exchange of gunfire erupted between the two men while they were still inside the car. Bryant managed to exit the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot but soon collapsed from his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deandre Daniels sustained life-threatening injuries during the shootout and was transported by the Shreveport Fire Department to a local hospital. He later succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital. The Shreveport Police Department's Violent Crimes Detectives are investigating the case as a double homicide. Authorities have stated that they are not seeking any additional suspects in connection with the shooting as they work to determine the motive behind the deadly exchange. The investigation remains ongoing.
